Terms of use, reservation and cancellation

Terms for customers who use Bargain and reserve offers.

Last updated: 08/09/2026

1. Bargain’s role and contracting parties

Bargain acts as an intermediary platform. The venue identified in each offer prepares and supplies the hospitality service and is responsible for its quality, availability, food information and fulfilment. Bargain manages the digital experience, reservation and payment coordination.

2. Account and purchase process

An active account is required to buy. Before payment, the venue, products, quantities, discounts, applicable taxes, total price, currency, use date or window and relevant terms are shown. You can correct the cart before proceeding.

The contract is formed electronically in English, Spanish or Catalan when Stripe confirms payment and Bargain issues the reservation. The confirmation remains available under “Reservations” and can be requested from support while retained under the privacy policy.

3. Payment

Stripe processes card payments. Bargain does not receive the full card number. The final server-confirmed price prevails over estimates and no charge is initiated until you can review and accept it.

4. Reservation use and redemption

Only the holder may use the reservation within its stated status and window. Slider redemption is immediate, atomic, single-use and must take place in front of venue staff when instructed. Pending, cancelled, expired, third-party or consumed reservations cannot be redeemed.

5. Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds

The specific condition is shown before payment. Catering services scheduled for a specific date or period may be legally excluded from the right of withdrawal. The exact scope and operational cancellation policy remain subject to final legal review.

There is no general 14-day return right for a service already supplied or covered by a legal exception. Refunds are processed only where required by law or provided by the condition shown for the reservation.

6. Issues, complaints and alternative resolution

For order issues, contact the venue first. For account, platform or payment issues, email support@thebargainapp.com. The former EU ODR platform closed on 20 July 2025; current alternative dispute-resolution bodies are listed on the European Commission’s official portal.
